2.Combined bearing clearance adjustment
The size of the clearance has a great influence on the rotary accuracy, load, life, efficiency and noise of the bearing. In order to ensure the normal operation of the bearing, usually the combination of bearings inside the appropriate axial and radial clearance.
Clearance is too large, the bearing rotation accuracy is reduced, noise increases; clearance is too small, due to the thermal expansion of the shaft so that bearing load increased, life shortened, efficiency reduced. Therefore, the bearing combination assembly should be according to the actual working condition to adjust the clearance appropriately, and from the structure to ensure that can be easily adjusted.
The common method of adjusting clearance has the following three kinds.
(1) shim adjustment
The angular contact bearing combination shown, by increasing or reducing the thickness of the shim group between the bearing cover and the bearing housing to adjust the clearance. Deep groove ball bearing combination of thermal compensation clearance is also adjusted by shims.
(2)Screw adjustment
Use the screw and the disc-shaped parts to adjust the bearing clearance, the nut plays a locking role. This method is convenient to adjust, but can not withstand the large axial force.
(3)Round nut adjustment
Two tapered roller bearing reverse structure, bearing clearance by round nut adjustment. But the operation is not very convenient, and the thread will weaken the strength of the shaft.
3.The effect of temperature on the efficiency of the combined bearing
Combined bearing will be warmed up after the start of operation, after a period of time, that is, at a lower temperature (usually 10~40 degrees higher than the room temperature) in the normal state. The time to normal state is different according to the bearing size, form, rotating speed, lubrication method, and the exothermic conditions around the bearing, which takes roughly 20 minutes to several hours.
Combined bearing temperature does not reach the normal state and abnormal temperature rise, the following main reasons can be considered.
1, too much or too little lubricating oil
2、Bad installation of the bearing
3、The combination bearing internal clearance is too small, or the load is too large
4、The seal device friction is too big
5、Lubricant does not match
6、Creep of the mating surface
In addition, if there are the above conditions, should stop as soon as possible and take the necessary measures. Temperature is essential to maintain proper bearing life and prevent lubricant degradation!
Suggestion: It is ideal to use the bearings in non-high temperature condition (generally below 100 degrees) as much as possible.
When replacing the combination bearings, the new bearings should be carefully inspected, while the shaft diameter and bearing seat holes and rotor for meticulous inspection and assembly and disassembly of bearings, strict implementation of the maintenance process, careful operation, to avoid improper installation and disassembly of bearings caused by damage.
Add oil and change oil on time to ensure that the working condition of the bearing is always in good condition; check carefully during the operation of the combination bearing, find the hidden trouble of failure and eliminate it in time.
