Rolling bearing “fever” is often encountered in production. If the cause analysis is not clear, the treatment is not timely, and the measures are not appropriate, it will often achieve half the result with twice the effort, and even cause bearing burning, reducer tooth beating and other malignant accidents.
1. The rotor is not balanced
Some rotors in the process of operation due to corrosion of the medium or wear of solid impurities, or shaft bending, will lead to the production of unbalanced centrifugal force, so that the bearing heat, vibration, raceway serious wear, until damage. This is particularly important for the circulating fan in the mill system. Due to the serious wear of the impeller, the balance of the rotor after wear is poor, and the vibration of the fan is larger, which often causes the bearing to fail in advance.
2. The replacement is not timely
Bearing such as serious fatigue spalling, oxidation corrosion, wear pits, cracks, hardness reduced to HRC< 60, or there is too much noise to adjust, should be replaced in time. If the inspection and replacement are not timely, it will cause bearing fever, abnormal sound, vibration and even serious damage to the rotor, thus affecting the normal production. In addition, the vibration caused by improper disassembly of bearings and loose foundation bolts of equipment will also lead to indentation of bearing raceway and rolling body, and cracking of bearing inner and outer seat rings. During the operation of bearings, they should be checked according to the specified period.
3. Poor bearing quality
Rolling bearing parts work in the form of point contact or line contact under high alternating contact stress for a long time. The precision, life and reliability of the main engine are largely determined by the bearing. No matter ordinary bearings or special bearings, the main engine puts forward high requirements on its life, performance and reliability. Therefore, in the procurement and acceptance link of bearings, we must pay attention to inspection. First, we should use the products of regular brand-name manufacturers. The key parts even use the original imported bearings, such as SKF bearings, NSK bearings, TIMKEN bearings and FAG bearings. Special parts should be specially designed, such as roller presses and bearings for vertical grinding rolls.
Although the rolling mill bearings of PY company and JY Company have been specially ordered, due to the unstable manufacturing quality of large domestic bearings, there is still the phenomenon of pitting and spalling on the inner surface of the rolling ring, resulting in the bearing fever and the accident of frequent jump and stop of the roller press.
4. Improper selection of bearings
When choosing bearings, attention should be paid to the limit speed and load capacity of the bearings, and they can not be used with super speed or overload.
