1. Burns

This can be solved by improving lubricants and lubrication methods, correcting the selection of bearings, studying fit, bearing clearance and preloading, improving sealing devices, checking the accuracy of shafts and bearing boxes or improving installation methods.
2. Electrical erosion
Electrocorrosion refers to the current flowing in the contact part of the rotating bearing ring and the rolling body, through the thin lubricating oil film sparks, the surface of the local melting and concave-convex phenomenon.
The main cause of current corrosion is the potential difference between the outer ring and the inner ring and the effect of static electricity.
Solution: When setting the circuit, the current does not pass through the bearing, and the bearing is insulated and static-grounded.
3.Rust corrosion
Bearing rust and corrosion of raceway, rolling body surface pit rust, overall rust and corrosion. Rust and corrosion of bearings will cause pitting rust on the surface of the ring and rolling body, pear-skin rust and pitting rust with the same spacing of rolling body, overall rust and corrosion.
There are many reasons for the corrosion failure of rolling bearing rust, mainly: the invasion of water, corrosive substances (paint, gas, etc.), lubricant is not appropriate, with water droplets due to the condensation of water vapor, high temperature and wet stop, poor rust prevention in the transportation process, the storage state is not appropriate, the use is not appropriate, etc.
The solution is to improve the sealing device, study the lubrication method, stop the rust prevention measures, improve the storage method, when using to pay attention to.
To sum up, from the common failure mechanism and failure mode of bearings, it can be seen that although rolling bearings are precise and reliable mechanism foundations, improper use will also cause early failure.
In general, if bearings can be used correctly, they can be used until the fatigue life. The early failure of bearings is mainly due to the manufacturing accuracy, installation quality, service conditions, lubrication effect, external foreign body invasion, thermal influence and sudden failure of main engine.
