In the production operation of the equipment, due to various factors such as poor installation, untimely maintenance and insufficient lubrication, the shaft head is often damaged and the bearing chamber wear phenomenon occurs from time to time. The traditional method generally adopts overlay welding and then machining to repair, while overlay welding will make the surface of the parts reach a very high temperature, causing deformation or cracking of the parts, and the downtime will be greatly extended by machining to obtain the size. Construction process.
I. Surface treatment
Grill the worn surface with oxygen-acetylene flame to thoroughly remove the surface and the oil and dirt penetrating into the substrate tissue. Use grinder or emery cloth to polish the surface out of the original metal color, and clean it with acetone.
Second, blending materials
Blend strictly according to the proportion and stir well until there is no color difference.
Third, apply the material
Apply a thin layer of polymer material first, to ensure bonding and complete coverage, then apply the material evenly to the repair surface to reach the required repair thickness, and install the bearing with the release agent.
IV. Installation and precautions
Install according to the assembly requirements. The shaft should be in a vertical downward position to facilitate installation and at the same time to ensure maximum concentricity after repair.
V. Curing
24 hours/24℃ (material temperature) For every 11℃ increase in material temperature, the curing time will be shortened by half, but the elevated temperature should not exceed the material’s tolerance temperature.
