4. Others: It also has the effect of preventing foreign matter from invading into the bearing, or preventing rust and corrosion.
The lubrication methods
At present, there are two main lubrication methods for bearings: grease lubrication and oil lubrication. In order to make the bearing function well, first of all, it is necessary to choose the lubrication method suitable for the use conditions and purposes. If only lubrication is considered, the lubricity of oil lubrication prevails. However, grease lubrication has the advantage of simplifying the structure around bearings. The advantages and disadvantages of grease lubrication and oil lubrication are compared.
Installation of bearings
Whether the installation of bearings is correct affects the accuracy, life and performance. Therefore, the design and assembly department should fully study the installation of bearings. It is expected to be installed according to operating standards. The standard items are usually as follows:
(1) Cleaning bearings and bearing related parts;
(2) Check the size and finishing of related parts;
(3) installation;
(4) Check after the installation of bearings;
(5) Supply lubricant.
It is hoped that the bearing packaging will be opened shortly before installation. General grease lubrication, do not clean, directly filled grease. Lubricating oil lubrication, ordinary also do not have to clean, but instruments or high-speed bearings, to wash with clean oil, remove the rust inhibitor coated on the bearing. Removed the anti-rust agent of the bearing, easy to rust, so can not be placed regardless of. Furthermore, the bearings that have been sealed with grease are not used directly without cleaning.
The installation method of bearings varies according to the bearing structure, fit and conditions. Generally, because most of the bearings are axial rotation, interference fit is needed for the inner ring. Cylindrical bore bearings, multi-purpose press pressing, or multi-purpose hot charging method. Taper hole occasions, directly mounted on the taper shaft, or installed with a sleeve.
When it is installed to the shell, there is usually more clearance matching and interference of the outer ring, which is usually pressed by a press or installed after cooling. When dry ice is used as coolant and cold shrinkage is combined with installation, water in the air will condense on the surface of the bearing. Therefore, appropriate rust prevention measures are needed.
