Integral eccentric bearing life begins with proper bearing selection. From the outset, bearing designers can extend bearing life and equipment performance by selecting the correct bearing for each application. This process takes into account many factors such as loads, hardness, bearing life predictions, operating environment, and more.
In principle, all integral eccentric bearings should be kept in their original packaging until installed. They need to be kept in a clean, moisture-free, relatively constant temperature environment. Rolling bearings should be kept away from dust, water and aggressive chemicals. Shaking and shock can permanently damage the bearing’s mechanical properties, so shock must be avoided during handling and storage.
Basically, all bearings must be stored horizontally, because some heavier bearings may deform due to their own weight after being placed vertically for a long time.
Pre-greased (or sealed) solid eccentric bearings require special care, as the density of the grease changes over time in storage. In this way, when the bearing is used for the first time, there will be a certain degree of rotational noise. Therefore, the shelf time of this kind of bearing should be controlled according to the principle of first in first out.
(1) Proposition of the problem In gas turbines and some machine tools and construction machinery, high speed and large axial load, the service life of ball bearings is too short, and short cylindrical roller bearings have insufficient axial load capacity, axial clearance Difficult to adjust, hope to use the integral eccentric bearing to break through this problem.
(2) The technical key that must be solved The technical key to improving the high-speed limit of the overall eccentric bearing is to improve the lubrication state between the large rib of the inner ring and the large end surface of the roller. This part is most prone to severe wear and burns at high speeds. The main reason for the high speed.
(3) Solution In the overall eccentric bearing with ordinary structure, it is difficult to get lubricating oil at the contact part of the large rib of the inner ring and the large end surface of the roller through the circulation route of the lubricating oil, and this part is relatively slippery, and it is precisely that the lubricating oil is most needed . Therefore, Japan and other countries have developed HA-type integral eccentric bearings. The ribs of this bearing are on the outer ring, so that the circulating lubricating oil can lubricate the contact parts between the ribs of the outer ring and the large end faces of the rollers. It can store some oil, which avoids the accident of burning due to lack of oil when starting, but several oil drain holes are opened on the outer ring rib as needed to avoid oil without a discharge channel, and the power loss and temperature rise caused by oil agitation caused by oil retention in certain parts too high. Since the inner ring has no ribs, the temperature is lowered, thereby reducing the possibility of creep between the inner ring and the shaft. The bearing of this structure adopts the outer ring guide method for the cage, so that the cage can guide the rollers to run normally without skewing, avoiding vibration and excessive wear, which is also conducive to high speed.
(4) The effect that can be achieved The dmn value of this HA type bearing can reach 2 million, which is twice as high as that of the ordinary structure. Under the condition of load 1000N, ensure that there is an oil supply of 2L/min to circulate the No. 4 turbine oil to the bearing, and its working speed can reach 60,000 rpm without burns.
