Choose some quality-guaranteed bearings for installation. Large-scale motors are very important machinery. If the motor fails or is even damaged due to poor bearing quality, the damage will be great, so we try to choose installation quality good bearings.

1. Bottom plate
The bottom plate of a large motor is generally welded by steel plates, or welded by I-beams and channel steels.
The bottom plate of the motor is either integral or segmented. Their function is to support the motor, transmit the dynamic and static load of the motor to the foundation, and keep the installation size and clearance of the motor and parts unchanged.
Before the bottom plate is installed, oil stains and anti-rust paint should be removed. Especially on the joint surface with cement pouring, it should be cleaned with paint remover and steel brush, and then dried with a cloth. It is best to pre-paint a layer of cement slurry.
When cleaning the bottom plate, pay attention to whether the mounting surface of the bearing seat and the stator frame are scratched or corroded. If similar defects are found, they should be repaired with files and sandpaper.
The newly installed motor bottom plate has strict requirements on the foundation, the foundation should be solid enough, and the foundation should not sink under a certain static load and dynamic load. In order to prevent the foundation of the motor from sinking, it is generally preloaded after the foundation is poured, and the preloaded weight is usually 1.5 to 2.5 times the installation weight of the motor. During the preloading process, the elevation is continuously measured to observe the sinking situation, and the installation can only be carried out after the foundation stops sinking. For example, a steel factory preloaded the foundation when installing the 1150 roughing mill motor. The preload weight was about twice the total weight of the motor. After 48 hours, the foundation sank to 2 mm.
2. Anchor screw
The anchor screw for fastening the bottom plate should be cleaned with gasoline and other solvents, and the thread should be checked for random buckling and damage, and try screwing it once with a nut. At the same time, measure the actual length of the anchor screw hole and check whether the length of the screw is appropriate. The anchor plate should be closely attached to the foundation, and the anchor screw should be kept perpendicular to the anchor plate.
The most commonly used anchor screws are double and no screws, which are more convenient to install. There are also T-shaped screws. The screws of this structure are lowered from the top, and the screws are put into the flat hole of the anchor plate, and then Rotate 900 screw to be locked by the anchor plate. Before the anchor screw is tightened, the thread should be pre-applied with lubricating oil.
