• To judge whether the bearing can be used again, it must be determined after checking the cleaned bearing. The inspection contents include the state of the raceway surface, rolling surface and matching surface, the wear condition of the cage, and checking the non-separated ball bearing. The inner ring can be supported horizontally by hand, and the outer ring can be rotated to confirm whether it is smooth.Separate bearing, such as tapered roller bearing, can check the rolling body and outer ring raceway surface respectively.The judgment of whether it can be used again is to consider the degree of bearing damage, mechanical performance, importance, operating conditions and the period of the next overhaul.However, the bearing must be replaced if there are any of the following defects:

• 1) Cracks or gaps are found in inner ring, outer ring, rolling body and retaining frame;

  2) Significant jamming on the raceway surface, guard edge and rolling body;

  3) the cage is seriously worn, or the rivets are significantly relaxed;

  4) there are serious indentation and hit marks on the raceway surface and rolling body;

  5) Apparent discoloration on the surface caused by overheating;

  6) There is obvious creep on the inner diameter surface of the inner ring or the outer diameter surface of the outer ring.
