How to repair bearing chamber wear

Most of the equipment in industrial enterprises is large-scale equipment, which is complicated to disassemble and repair. During the production and operation of the equipment, due to various factors such as improper installation, untimely maintenance, insufficient lubrication, etc., the shaft head is often damaged, and the bearing chamber wear phenomenon often occurs. The traditional method generally uses machining after surfacing welding to repair, and surfacing welding will cause the surface of the component to reach a high temperature, causing deformation or cracks of the component, and obtaining the size through machining will greatly prolong the downtime. However, the use of Meihua products for on-site repair has no thermal influence, and the thickness of the repair is not limited. The wear resistance of the product and the concession that metal materials do not have can ensure 100% contact and fit of the repaired parts and reduce equipment damage. Shock vibration to avoid the possibility of abrasion. The method of on-site repair and avoiding machining can save a lot of downtime for enterprises and create huge production value.
Construction process:
1. Surface treatment
Grill the worn surface with an oxy-acetylene flame to thoroughly remove the surface and the oil that has penetrated into the matrix tissue. Grind the surface to the original metal color with a sander or emery cloth, and clean it with acetone.
2. Blending materials
Reconcile strictly according to the proportion and stir evenly until there is no color difference.
3. Smudge material
First apply a thin layer of polymer material to ensure adhesion and complete coverage, then apply the material evenly to the repaired surface to achieve the required repair thickness, and install the bearing coated with the release agent.
4. Installation and Precautions
Install according to assembly requirements. The shaft should be in a vertical downward position, which is convenient for installation and can also maximize the concentricity after repair.
5. Curing
24 hours/24°C (material temperature). For every 11°C increase in material temperature, the curing time will be shortened by half, but the elevated temperature must not exceed the withstand temperature of the material.
