The temperature of the guide bearing of the CNC lathe is too high, and the phenomenon of burning tiles is a common fault problem. The following CNC will talk about how to deal with the problem of excessive temperature of the bearing of the CNC lathe.
1. The role of the guide bearing
The purpose of setting the guide bearing of the CNC lathe is to limit the generator main shaft to run within the specified clearance range of the guide bearing and to bear the radial load on the main shaft of the generator.
2. The working principle of the guide bearing
The working principle of thin oil lubricated segmented pad bearings is that when the unit rotates at high speed, the lubricating oil enters the joint surface of the bearing pad and the journal to lubricate the bearing pad, and the lubricated hot oil enters the bearing pad and the shaft again after being cooled by the oil cooler The joint surface of the journal, with the operation of the unit, the lubricating oil has been automatically reciprocating and circulating for cooling. When the main shaft rotates, a stable oil wedge is formed between the journal and the tile surface, thereby bearing the radial load and transferring it to the guide bearing seat, and then to the frame.
3. Composition of guide bearing
The guide bearing of CNC lathe is a thin oil lubricated sub-block bearing, which is mainly composed of bearing cover, lubricating oil tank, cooler, oil return pipe, bearing bush, bearing seat, load screw and thermometer and other auxiliary parts. The guide bushes of the two units at station B are divided into eight tiles, which are evenly distributed on the guide journal of the main shaft of the generator according to the circumference.
4. Reason analysis of bearing temperature rise and unit vibration increase
According to the observation of the operation and the analysis of the maintenance situation, we believe that there are two main reasons for the increase of the bearing temperature and the increase of the vibration of the unit:
①The bearing gap increases, which is much larger than the design requirement gap, which makes it difficult for the lubricating oil to form an oil wedge after entering the surface of the water guide bearing pad, resulting in poor lubrication, which leads to an increase in the temperature of the guide bearing and increased vibration of the unit;
② There are few contact points on the bearing pad surface, and the contact surface is insufficient, which cannot meet the requirements of equipment specifications.
5. The solution to the temperature rise of the guide bearing
According to the design requirements of the manufacturer, when the maximum temperature of the cooling water of the CNC lathe unit under the condition of continuous operation does not exceed 25°C, the maximum temperature of the tile temperature and the oil temperature should not exceed 65°C. The temperature of the bearing bush and the oil temperature are not only related to the temperature of the cooling water, but also related to the circulation of the lubricating oil and the clearance between the bearing bush and the spindle journal.
The allowable clearance of the guide bearing of CNC lathe is 0.2-0.3mm (bilateral clearance). The lower part of the bearing bush is immersed in lubricating oil. For lubrication, even when passing through the maximum swing point of the main shaft, although the fit gap is the smallest, due to the short distance, good lubrication condition, less heat generated by friction, and good cooling effect, generally it will not cause the bearing temperature to rise, let alone cause The phenomenon of burning tiles.
