Rolling bearings are high-precision mechanical components, and their internal and surface quality requirements are very strict. Therefore, the storage of bearings must be kept well to avoid damage, precision reduction or quality deterioration of bearings without use during the storage period. The technical tasks of bearing warehouse management are as follows:
(1) Avoid bearing damage in the process of handling;
(2) prevent bearing rust during the inventory period;
(3) Reduce the accuracy loss during inventory as much as possible;
(4) To ensure the supply of bearings, will not be out of stock affect production;
(5) Reasonable adjustment of goods, do not let the bearing backlog too long;
(6) Carry out investigation, statistics and comparative analysis of the use of bearings to summarize experience in order to improve the supply, inventory, use and selection of bearings.
Bearing the warehouse
Temperature bearings are coated with anti-rust oil before leaving the factory, and high precision bearings even have wooden boxes and plastic boxes to store. If the temperature is too low or too high, anti-rust oil will deteriorate, the room temperature should be controlled between 5-25℃, the highest shall not exceed 30℃, the lowest shall not be less than 4℃, otherwise, temperature adjustment measures should be adopted, and the storage room should avoid direct sunlight.
1.Bearing warehouse humidity
High humidity will make the bearing rust, bearing warehouse to ensure that the place is dry and ventilated, indoor relative humidity should be kept between 45% and 60%.
2.Bearing warehouse environment
Bearings are best stored in separate categories. When they must be stored together with other items, the other items should not be acid, alkali, salt and other chemicals. Bearings should be placed on wooden brackets 0.2m or more away from the ground, far away from heating pipes, water tanks, water pipes.
During bearing storage, the wax layer should be kept intact, and it should not be mixed with other miscellaneous parts and tools to avoid collision deformation and corrosion.
3.Regular bearing inspection
According to the provisions of the national “rolling bearing anti-rust packaging” standard, the anti-rust period of bearings is divided into half a year, one year and two years. The anti-rust period of bearings that need to be installed in the short term is half a year. The starting date of calculating the anti-rust period of general bearings is based on the date marked on the product’s factory certificate. According to the provisions of bearing products rust prevention, regular inspection every 10– 12 months. If rust is found in oil seal packaging, oil seal packaging should be re-carried out.
4.Horizontal bearing placement
For bearings with an outer diameter of less than 200mm, shelves can be used to place them horizontally, and oversized bearings should be stored horizontally on wooden brackets to avoid elliptic deformation of bearings.
