Generally speaking, the cage of the bearing will not be damaged under reasonable working conditions, but the wrong operation in daily production will reduce the service life of the bearing cage. Poor lubrication of bearings The bearing runs in a state of lean oil, which is easy to form adhesive wear and deteriorate the state of the working surface. The tear produced by adhesive wear is easy to enter the cage, causing abnormal load on the cage and possibly causing the cage to break. 2. Bearing creep phenomenon The sliding phenomenon of the creep multi-finger ferrule, when the interference of the mating surface is insufficient, the load point will move to the surrounding direction due to the sliding, and the position of the ferrule relative to the shaft or the shell will deviate from the circumferential direction. 3. Abnormal load of bearing cage Improper installation, inclination, excessive interference, etc. will easily cause clearance reduction, aggravate friction and heat generation, soften the surface, and premature abnormal peeling. With the expansion of peeling, the peeling foreign matter enters the cage pocket, causing the cage The running is blocked and additional load is generated, which increases the wear of the cage. Such a worsening cycle may cause the cage to break. 4. Material defect of bearing cage Cracks, large heterogeneous metal inclusions, shrinkage cavities, air bubbles and riveting defects, lack of nails, pad nails or gaps between the joint surfaces of the two halves of the cage, severe riveting, etc. may cause the cage to break. 5. Intrusion of hard foreign matter in the bearing The intrusion of foreign hard foreign matter or other impurities aggravates the wear of the cage.
